OneSimCard has launched a new international sim card that features GPRS service. Using the sim card, GPRS data service will be available to users without having to subscribe to additional data plans.
OneSimCard says that usage of its products has increased in the Middle East and Asia thanks to extended coverage in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan in addition to the traditional European destinations.
"We have now completed the product," general manager Alex Filippov stated today in Boston. "Business and recreational travelers have been requesting this service on our worldwide roaming product. This is in addition to our free world wide incoming SMS and free incoming voice calls in over 50 countries. The demand for GPRS is growing daily; we can now offer this as a very cost-effective alternative to any of the international carriers."
