Incase Power Slider Case for iPhone 3G doubles Battery Life
Incase unveiled the Power Slider for the iPhone 3G that more than doubles the battery life of iPhone 3G while providing integrated sync and charge capabilities and complete iPhone protection. Given the limited battery life that users complain about the Incase Power Slider sounds like a great solution to the problem. The only downside is that it makes your iPhone 3G look fat.
The Incase Power Slider serves as both a case and power solution. The optimized power management system provides continuous charge to the internal battery of iPhone 3G. When in use, power drains first from Power Slider so that the device's internal battery remains fully charged and is only depleted once the battery of Power Slider has been drained.

iPhone 3G Tethering coming says AT&T
One of the annoying disadvantages of the iPhone 3G today is that you cannot use it to connect a notebook to the internet.
Now AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph De La Vega told TechCrunch's Michael Arrington at the Web 2.0 Summit that iPhone tethering is coming soon.
AT&T did not reveal if there will be an extra charge for this feature. In my value understanding using a mobile phone as a modem should be free and covered by the data plan I already have. This is how it works here in Germany with my old Nokia N80 on O2.

iPhone 3G could sell as low as $99 and T-Mobile G1 gets rolledback at Wal-mart
The smartphone battle will still get a lot more interesting for us consumers on the pricing side of things. Analyst Charlie Wolf of Needham Research says that Apple can afford to drop the iPhone 3G price to $99 if necessary. Via Electronista.
Given the high prices RIM keeps on their new Blackberry Bold ($299.99 with 2 year contract) and most likely also on the new BlackBerry Storm a price drop like that would hurt pretty bad.
The only other smartphone that would not hesitate to cut prices is the new T-Mobile G1 as it seems.
